The bewildering world of technology - while it makes SO many things easier - has also certainly generated many legitimate concerns regarding how our personal information is collected, stored protected, and used.
This policy attempts to clarify to you how this is done, related to the website embodygrace.com: what personal data (PD), and non-personal data (NPD) is collected from you, how I collect it, how I protect it, how I may share it, how you can access and changes, and how you can limit my sharing of it. This privacy notice also explains certain legal rights that you have with respect to your personal data.
About collecting personal information
I collect personal information when it’s relevant and necessary to be in relationship.
The type of relationship will determine the kinds of information collected. For example, there are some differences between a person commenting on a blog post, or subscribing to a newsletter, or signing up for a paid course or bodywork session.
I only send information to people who ask for it (and that includes my online subscription form or an email ‘sign-up’ sheet at a live event). Even then, I only send the material requested, unless I receive your further permission to send you more (for example, pertaining to a course or a membership).
Examples of information that may be collected (not an exhaustive list):
Name
Email address
Phone number
Mailing address
Date of birth
Credit card information (for courses, or pre-paying for sessions or classes)
Any info relative to upcoming courses, or might be helpful when signing up for classes/courses/sessions
Optional health information relevant to a bodywork session or movement class
Some of that information is collected through 3rd party sites (such as ConvertKit, Square, Stripe, Acuity, etc), and whom have their own policies for data collection. Details will be given in the relevant sections below.

Changes to My Privacy Notice
I reserve the right to change this privacy notice at any time.
If my company decides to change this privacy notice, I will post those changes on my website so that my users and customers are always aware of what information I collect, use, and disclose.
If at any time I decide to disclose or use your personal data in a method different from that specified at the time it was collected, I will provide advance notice by email sent to the email address on file in your account. Otherwise, I will use and disclose our users’ and customers’ personal data in agreement with the privacy notice in effect when the information was collected.
