Terms and conditions pertaining to bodywork sessions and live classes/workshop (online and in person).

Offers and pricing.
I offer scheduling of bodywork and related services, as well as classes, workshops and other live events on this Website. The price of these services and classes and events can be found listed on the Website.
Scheduling, etc.
You can schedule several ways: By calling or texting via the contact number; via contact email; or through my third party scheduling link (Acuity), found via the “book now” links on the Website, or on my social media sites.
Contacting me via social media sites (e.g. Facebook/Instagram private messenger) is not recommended, as I do not monitor notifications from these sites.
I reserve the right to decline treatment in the case of illness or injuries where I'm concerned bodywork may not be appropriate for you at this time. See the next section for more about this.
Optimal experience.
For the best possible and safest experience, I request that you - to the best of your ability - notify me of your current health status prior to your session (This includes possible illness, possible or known pregnancy, recent injuries, surgeries, etc, or any other possible health conditions that may be contraindicated for bodywork. Please consult your health care provider if you have any questions about this.)
The above precautions also apply to movement/meditation classes: that you acknowledge, to the best of your ability, that you have no known issues that would contraindicate exercise or meditation.
I also request - to the best of your ability - that you wear or bring loose-fitting clothing for your bodywork sessions, as well as refrain from eating too heavily before your appointment. Both of these conditions will ensure a more comfortable and effective session for you.
Payment for session/class.
Unless otherwise noted, payment for sessions (and some live classes) can be offered at the time of service. In some instances of online classes or special workshops, payment in advance will be required.
Forms of payment accepted: cash, check, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa, and Venmo (credit cards are processed through the third party processor, Square).
You will have the option to pay for your bodywork session in advance using the Acuity interface. When you make a purchase via this link, your payment will be processed through the third party processor, Square. I am not responsible for the collection, use, sharing or security of your billing information by any third party payment processors. The following payment method(s) are accepted by the third party payment processors: American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.
You hereby represent and warrant that you have the legal right to use the payment method(s) in connection with any purchase and that the information that you supply to us and to the third party payment processor(s) is true, correct and complete.
Tips/gratuities.
Tips for bodywork sessions are not required, nor expected, but always appreciated. Tips can be added on to an online or point of sale credit card purchase, a check, or as cash.
Gift certificates/discounted packages.
I offer the availability to purchase gift certificates (either in person, or via my Website - see the third-party payment terms above), as well as discounted pre-paid packages for bodywork sessions and classes. In the event you have in possession a gift certificate or package sessions purchased over two years ago, please contact me to discuss options.
Cancellations/rescheduling.
Life happens, and things come up unexpectedly.
My scheduling software sends out one reminder email (which offers the option to reschedule up to 5 hours before the session start). If requested, I will also send a text reminder. I ask that cancellations be made at least 24 hours in advance, if possible. I generally allow one free non-emergency/illness no-show, but last minute cancellations and no-shows are subject to the price of the session - in full or part - at my discretion.
I reserve the right to decline treatment in the case of illness or injuries where I'm concerned bodywork may not be appropriate for you at this time.
Refund policy.
In the event you are dissatisfied with the quality of your session or class, you can submit a request for a refund within 48 hours. Also, if I have to cancel a pre-paid session or class last minute, and you are not able/willing to reschedule, you are entitled to a refund.
In the event I deem there is inappropriate behavior/intention, or a compromise to my safety on your part, I reserve the right to end the session immediately, with no refund, if pre-paid.

Changes to Terms of Service.
I reserve the right to make changes to these Terms of Service at any time. I will notify you immediately of making any changes to these Terms of Service via by posting the updated terms of service to this website.
